Working from home can be a luxurious option that is offered once in a while by your company. But with the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of people are moving their office to their home. Is it an easy transition? Sometimes we can be easily distracted by animals who need our attention or a neighbor who decides to build a tree house. Here are some tips for working from home successfully:
Get started early. Without the morning commute, we can get a head start much earlier without the traffic, sometimes dressing up formally is no longer required. Simply getting started first thing in the morning can combat morning sluggishness and keep the momentum going.
Structure your day. Without the presence of coworkers and bosses, sometimes we tend not to be motivated to work hard as we can. But if you are disciplined to work out a schedule, we can be more productive and get all those meetings and projects done.
Make a dedicated workstation. Don’t just curl in the couch or the bed to complete work assignments. Clean out a decent desk. Put some motivational decorations. Put a good lamp. The diligent vibe can also encourages you to work hard.
